Our Story

The story begins in 1992 in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, México where María Guadalupe Magaña Alvarado and Rafael Lonngi Champion met for the first time in their lifetime-journey of educational endeavors. Rafael was 4 years old when María Guadalupe was his kindergarten teacher, and taught him reading, math and writing at María Guadalupe’s School, “Centro Pedagógico Torres Quintero.” 23 years later, in 2015, María Guadalupe and Rafael teamed up with a purpose in mind—to make these teaching methodologies available to every school teacher and everyone who wishes to teach reading, math, and writing in Spanish, as well as in Spanish as a second language. Hence, Sugled was born.

Our Mission
We believe one of the best ways to improve the world is through a solid education that starts as early as possible. We design and develop educational reading, writing and mathematics methods for school teachers and homeschooling parents, in Spanish and Spanish as a second language.
